How does it feel?
You’ll hear me ask this a lot now, and since I’ve last written a blog (about three years ago), I have moved from doing to feeling.
My main teacher at this moment is a woman called Little Grandmother. She says that feeling is the language of our Higher Self. Feeling is directly related to our Intuition, which is the direct voice of the Higher Self.
“I don’t know how I know, I just know.”
“It’s a gut feeling.”
We often have a direct knowing about something, and the reason we feel it in our “gut” is because this is the seat of our Intuition…the inner voice. This is the voice of deep Wisdom. Unfortunately, we spend the vast majority of time in our heads, the chatter of our mind and our thoughts to drown out the inner voice.
The mind is the “doer” and is the more masculine aspect of our self. Our intuition is the “feeler” and is the more feminine aspect of ourselves.
All of the wisdom keepers on our planet have repeatedly told us to “just Be.” This is how we heal ourselves, and how we heal our world. Just “Be-ing” requires us to be still, to move into the space of feeling, allowing, and receiving….the feminine space.
We generate a lot of sexual energy in our bodies. I teach people how to feel that energy. We have all this amazing energy build up inside us and our programming tells us we have to “do” something with it….and we do…we have to Feel it!
We need to learn that this feeling, this Divine creative force, is actually who we are, it is our essence, and by simply learning how to feel it, breathe it in, and cycle it in our bodies, we feed and nourish ourselves and become more vital happy Be-ings.
Becoming fully present and bringing awareness to our sexual energy is the first and often most difficult step in moving from a lower vibration to a higher vibration. It is part of our work in elevating ourselves into the free and blissful state of Be-ing.
Our senses are the portals to feeling. And no matter where we are or what we are doing, we can be sensual beings. We can see, taste, smell, hear, and feel with more consciousness and breath and joy. Even standing in line at the grocery store, we can feel our feet on the floor, we can take in all the sounds around us, we can smell the smells, and even taste our breath on our tongue. This practice will immediately drop you in to a deeper space no matter where you are, so you can remember who you are.
So I invite you to move into feeling today. Rather than asking yourself “how” you can feel better, move into visualizing how you would like to feel, and then remain in that state of feeling for as long as you can. Remember that feeling, and come back to it repeatedly throughout your day. Spend more time in that feeling, and start healing your present state.
“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart” ― Helen Keller
